Buying ETFs

To purchase ETFs, head over to Trade (1) → Select Funds (2) → and type in the ticker of your desired ETF in the search box (3). If you do not know the exact name, entering part of the name will initiate a key word search to help you find what you are looking for.

Most ETFs have the indication ETF in the name (4), however there can be exceptions.

To make sure that you have selected the correct asset type, check the Security Type (5) in the asset information window.

Make sure to keep an eye on the Lot Size (6) as well, as some ETFs are being offered with different lot values.

To purchase the ETF, select the asset and define the volume in the transaction window on the right. Make sure the transaction indicator is green and stating Buy.

You will be able to proceed with the transaction and make an investment in the ETF fund if you have enough cash on your account.

Important information

Please be aware, that some ETFs exist in multiple versions, including offers with leveraged multiplier. These can be identified with 2x, or 3x (e.g.) within the name.

Investments into leveraged instruments can significantly amplify your gains, but also your losses and shall therefore be seen as high risk investments.

Leveraged ETFs are intended for professional traders who know about the market circumstances and the additional risks.

ETFs also exist in Long and Short versions. Please make sure to select the correct version, so the selected instrument aligns with your investment objective.

Selling ETFs
To sell the ETF, navigate further down to see your whole portfolio and the open positions.

The ETF will appear the same as all other assets in your portfolio.

Click on the red SELL Button, to sell your ETFs.

Please be aware, that by clicking on the “SELL” Button, you are selling your entire position (the total quantity) of the selected holding.

If you wish to sell only a portion of your investment, please navigate back to the transaction window.

Click on BUY to toggle between BUY and SELL (1).

To sell your assets, keep it on SELL.

Specify the quantity you wish to sell in “Volume, pcs” (2) and proceed by clicking on PLACE A SELL ORDER (3)

Buying ETFs

To purchase ETFs, go to the Quotes page (1) → Select Search by Ticker (2) → and type in the ticker of your desired ETF (3). The keyword search allows to find partial matches in case you are unsure of the full name of the asset.

To purchase the ETF, select the asset and click Trade (7) to enter a trade window. Make sure the transaction indicator is green and stating Buy (8). From here, you can define the Price (9) at which you want to Buy the security (market price, limit order, etc) and the Quantity (10) you want to buy. When you have adjusted the parameters for the trade, press Place Buy Order (11) to go to the confirmation screen where you can view the full details of your order. After reviewing the details, press Buy (12) to proceed with the transaction.

In order to proceed with the transaction and make an investment in the ETF fund, make sure you have enough cash on your trading account.

Selling ETFs

To sell the ETF, navigate further down to see your Portfolio (1), scroll down to the Open positions (2) and click on the ETF you wish to sell (3) (in this case, we are selling PSLV).

Make sure your order is set to Sell (4) at the top of the screen.

Here, you can also adjust the Price (5) at which you wish to sell your security (this changes your order type to a limit order), and the Quantity (6) you wish to sell.

When you have made all of the relevant adjustments, press Place a Sell order (7), which will take you to an order confirmation screen. Here, you can review all of the order details and, if everything is correct, proceed to press Sell (8).

Print out, sign and upload the scanned copy of the signed document to the website
