This is very much unlikely. Freedom Finance Europe Ltd id a subsidiary of Freedom Holding Corp. ($FRHC), which is listed in the NASDAQ. We are also regulated within the European Union. This obliges Freedom Finance Europe Ltd to report to the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC). We are also audited by the holding company's auditors, Deloitte. With that grade of regulation, it is inconceivable that our company commits any infringements that could potentially lead to bankruptcy.

However, if we still theoretically admit this had occurred, you can rely upon a specific policy maintained by the EU Law regarding the client funds in case of bankruptcy. As per 87(I)/2017 and DI87-07, every EU-based broker must be a member of the Investor Compensation Fund. In case a company goes bankrupt or gets liquidated, its clients have a right to request compensation from the Fund, every client's assets are insured for €20,000. Apart from that, when a company goes bankrupt, the regulators will assign an asset manager, after which the clients will be able to request to transfer their assets to other accounts.

What happens to your assets:

Segregated Accounts

Your funds and securities are held separately from the company’s own assets. This means they are not part of Freedom24’s balance sheet and cannot be used to cover its debts.

Return of Assets

In case of liquidation, your cash and securities will be returned to you or transferred to another regulated custodian.

Investor Compensation Fund (ICF)

If, for any reason, your assets cannot be returned (e.g. due to fraud or administrative failure), you may be eligible for compensation through the ICF, which protects up to €20,000 per investor.

Custodians & Clearstream

Securities are held via international custodians such as Clearstream, ensuring additional layers of protection and oversight.

Freedom24 clients remain the legal owners of their assets. In the unlikely case of bankruptcy, your investments are protected, segregated, and recoverable under EU law.
